"The Lights of New York" has received extensive radio airplay across the United States and was later broadcast in Italy, Argentina, and Australia. The song also became the official theme of a series of A.I.A.E. New York web television programs titled "The Lights of New York," featuring interviews with prominent Italian Americans. Among the distinguished guests were Deana Martin (daughter of Dean Martin), Tony Lo Bianco, and many other notable personalities.
Since its release in 2020, the song has remained in continuous radio rotation. It served as the official theme for the U.S. Media Partners of the Naples Festival 2020, was featured during the 2021 Columbus Day Parade, and was broadcast across the United States during the 2021 September 11 commemorations, as well as again during Columbus Day 2023.
The song was also performed at the inauguration ceremony of the Tower of Light, a monument created by sculptor Giorgio Bartoli, located in Staten Island, New York, within the grounds of the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum. It additionally opened the Festa del Giglio celebration held in front of St. Thomas Church in West Hempstead, New York.
On May 13, 2022, the song earned its composer the AIAE Heartfelt Thanks Award, presented at the Consulate General of Italy in New York.
Later that year, Maestro Vince Tempera included the song in his United States concert tour, followed by a performance from internationally acclaimed tenor Andrea Del Principe at the BMS Playhouse in Brooklyn, New York.
On May 5, 2023, at the Consulate General of Italy in New York, the composer received the prestigious Friends of AIAE Award for "The Lights of New York" in recognition of its contribution to promoting Italian-American culture. He was subsequently honored with an additional award from the Office of the New York State Comptroller, presented by The Honorable Thomas P. DiNapoli.
Following the release of his single "Casa Mia," together with the continued success of "The Lights of New York," the composer was appointed to the official A.I.A.E. New York Board for the 2024 Columbus Day celebrations.

An Italian-American production created between Ancona, Rome, and New York in partnership with A.I.A.E. New York and Josephine Maietta's radio program "Sabato Italiano." The most exciting aspect of this release is Josephine's debut as a recording artist. Widely recognized as a renowned radio host and a leading figure within the Italian-American community, Josephine lends her voice to the song in a duet with Stefano Spazzi. A promise Stefano extracted from Josephine while they were on stage at a music festival in Menton, France—where Josephine was hosting the event—has finally come to life.
The song unfolds against the backdrop of a story suspended between present and past, dreams and reality, where the silhouettes of a woman and cherished places emerge through an indistinguishable kaleidoscope of emotions.
The production features distinguished names from the Italian music scene, including Pino Gulizia—known for his work with Fausto Leali, Luciano Rossi, and many others—who arranged the song, and Antonello Mazzeo, the longtime drummer for Franco Califano, whose career also includes collaborations with Luigi Tenco, Paul Anka, and many other renowned artists, performing the drum tracks.
The song was recorded between Trevi Music Recording Studio in New York, Event Studio in Ancona, and Studio Trullo Bunker in Rome, before being mixed by Bimas (Jr. M. Bazzano). The cover artwork was created by photographer Lorenzo Francella for Loft 25 Studio.

An emotional journey through the landscapes of the soul, where dreamlike visions blend with real-life imagery, evoking the idea of home—not only as a physical place, but above all as the inner sanctuary each of us builds over the years. A memory, a love, a special place—everything that makes us say, "I'm home." A moment suspended between reality, imagination, and remembrance.
The song features arrangements by John La Barbera, one of America's distinguished musicians, whose career includes collaborations with John Densmore of The Doors, Charlie Giordano of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, and Judy Collins. He also composed the score for the documentary film Sacco and Vanzetti, starring John Turturro.
