COMITES NY Launches “TracingITALIANrootsNY,” the Web App Mapping Italian Roots.

tracingITALIANroots.NY has officially arrived in New York. This free web app allows users, with just a simple tap, to discover an interactive map woven from the stories, traditions, and legacy of Italians in America—transforming technology into a true time machine that seamlessly connects past and present.

This engaging and highly practical project comes to life in the Big Apple thanks to COMITES NY, led by Ornella Fado, Vice President of the Committee and Chair of the Communication and Events Commission, who serves as Head of Outreach alongside Project Curator Fabio Castagna (pictured below). The initiative aims to celebrate and share the narrative of the Italian presence in the United States through an innovative, accessible, and culturally impactful platform.
